they didn't pioneer shit in NHRA. Most of what they did was pay $ to get the name plastered on everything. They did do a Funny Car body and some aero work though. I'm kind of torn - I love the sport and do not like to see money leaving, but Toyota in a home grown AMERICAN motor sport never set well with me.....AND it absolutely pisses me off to see Toyota, Ford and Chevy sponsored teams put those names on the HEMI valve covers...sacrilege!
