You should have told the guy that you would take the $5k and then when he asks for your address give him the address to the nearest comedy club. When he gets there and texts you wondering what’s up just tell him you thought he was hilarious and should try out his skills there.

Selling modified cars is tough. I have a modified Boss 302 I've posted on Marketplace and have dealt with plenty of idiots. There are some Facebook buy/sell groups you might want to try if you haven't already.
