Hot Rod VW pushing 1200+ from 2.0

Seen this guy before, but this vid includes in car footage with the tach and speedo. Wish they were running timers. Still, pretty impressive (my question is when does it actually grip, right off?) Only first car is worth anything, rest of vid is not worth the time.

Spoke to soon, found a quarter mile run for this guy. 8.998 at 265 km/h, with a 1.57 60 foot...

Not something I'd want to tool around in all the time, but pulling 1200+ out of a two liter is impressive to me. lol just scaling it, you'd have to pull 3720 HP out of 6.2 liters to equal power density.
