They can suck ass! Consumer reports and Motortrend seem to typically just deduct points from the get go for being an "American" brand! It's been like that for decades and even when other car mags report the opposite. I go by personal experience and all of my vehicles have been very good with little to no issues that are reported by these rags. I'm talking about all my vehicles over the years and not just Stellantis/Chrysler branded ones. It's how you take care of and treat them just like anything else. The automobile is also a very complicated piece of machinery these days and small things can be defective but thankfully I've never had a issue and I buy a lot of new cars.
They will recommend an inferior foreign car before they even suggest a superior American brand. They do not like any American brands except maybe the Furd F150 cause you know...it's the original and only worthy American vehicle ever made
That is 100% bullshit. We have owned eight Grand Cherokees. Current one has over 90k miles. I think I am qualified to state they publish bullshit based on my experience for 25 + years.
