First trip to drag strip

Went to a private track rental at Texas Motorplex yesterday 1/9/2021 and ran the challenger for the first time. Car is a 16 HC Challenger engine mods are Ati 10% lower, ID 1050 injectors, catless mids and tuned by Pietz performance. First pass was 10.187 @ 130.36, 2nd pass 10.217 @ 134.28, 3rd pass 10.174 @ 136.74 and finally pass was the best 10.114 @ 136.78. Need to work on the 60ft but overall very pleased with the car.

@Mean Cat in the mean time I have raced USMTS and IMCA modifieds, road raced Ducatis for European Motorcycle out of the DFW area and I started Arctic Cats atv race team and raced for them for 2 years. Always been involved in racing just different forms, lol

Nice job and keep working on your stall and launch, thus cutting down your 60' and running better times.

Then start working on your Pro Tree reaction time, because too many people cheat on standard trees. Always race on a pro tree.

Hermon (Demonology) was helping me at the track and that was all we were working on, getting a good burnout, loading the TC and getting a good launch. Started at 1500 on the stall and the last pass was at 2000 and was my best pass. I plan on trying to get all that down and be consistent with the launch before I do anymore motor work.

Congrats on great runs. You're a natural if that's the first time. Not a lot of folks ready to pull out on the track and run low tens without making sure that three point belt is extra tight!

93 with One can of VP Octanium unleaded, that was on a full tank of fuel
