Just felt like throwing away a few dollars on the car today so I treated myself to something purposeful but not very fun. If any of you guys have ever changed the tranny fluid in the M6 you know what a pain in the ass the crossmember could be. It seems to just collect all the fluid you’ve just drained and drip it seemingly endlessly. Blowing it all out with brake cleaner really doesn’t make it any better. I got an email today from Petty’s Garage for a 10% promotion code “Easter10” which sealed the deal for me. As soon as I get it installed I’ll give it a quick review. It came to 206 with tax and free shipping. Btw, I’ve got a few other Petty pieces that are great. Welds are beautiful, fit is right on, and paint match is perfect.

Looked at it again, as winter continues here!

Have not driven it five miles this year.

Will not be attending the opening HPDE track day at BIR. Why? Forecast for Monday April 25 is 39 degrees! After freezing Sunday night.

It is April 18, today right? The climate is changing for the warmer, right? Not in these latitudes. Right now it is 36 degrees. It won’t get much better in a week, I have seen it snow the last five of seven days in the Minneapolis area. They salted heavy AGAIN Friday and AGAIN this morning.
I hear ya @DGatzby Same type of shit weather here. Snowed 2 1/2 inches yesterday. Today the wind is howling and it’s 40 out. WTF? I’m tired of this shit🤬

The wind stopped up here, the 45 degrees feels ok, but the tires still can’t be out. It looks like we get a break and can drive a few times coming up this week, before it falls off for a few days. Getting close now. I promised myself I’ll drive until it needs washed, (damn that was nearly four weeks ago) then I will bolt on the chrome wheels. Until then, the black wheels are on her.

I just sold my 24' Sure Trac. Looks identical.
I was quite sad when I heard that from a friend at VMP, was about to reach out to you, but yeah it was an 18' Sure Trac that I borrowed from a friend. I'm not a fan of the beaver tail with the ramps, loading was not fun. I'm looking for an eazy loader or a rollback trailer, those look so much easier to load up.

It took some work to figure the right way to load but it pulled very nicely and is extremely stable.
But even with the new trailer I had to get new loading ramps installed because the Charger sits so low.

I watched @fumanchu182 load his HC at VMP. His splitter came VERY close to the ramps. Any lower, they would have dragged. Not sure if it was a 2' or 4' beavertail. I did notice he had decent room on either side of the fenders. That's the thing I'm worried about with the widebody - not much room for error.

As long as it clears is all that matters. The Charger has a lower front fascia than the Challenger. We would jack up the front so that it didn't graze the ramps. Plenty of room on it. I don't like the car hanging past the back.

Race Ramps for the WIN! I use them and it is a "no-brainer" to load and unload.

I have to say that I think that these are the best that I've ever used. Just fold them up when you are done.

Warm day today so I got it cleaned up. Previous owner had it paint corrected and ceramic coated, which makes it easy to get a quick wash and a good shine.

Only thing is, I feel like if I just look at the hood it scratches haha. Anyone else have that issue? Considering looking into a better product to wrap it with, if one exist.

(Nice car BTW)
Have an old "Rock and Reed" septic pit.
About 6' x 25' x 2' deep pit filled with gravel.
Hasn't been used in 15 years, and wanted to clear the gravel out and replace with fill dirt.
Neighbor needs the gravel, so every weekend we shovel about 4 to 5 loads into his truck.
Over a 1/3 of the way to completion.
Already removed the plastic liner from about half of it.
