I bet that is pretty intense.
I remember, prior to my first deployment in the jet, some of us in the squadron getting qual’d down to 500’ at night on NVGs in order to intercept and engage low flying aircraft if we had to.
We were all night qual’d that low for navigation purposes or incase we had to due a low altitude ingress to bomb a target but fighting another aircraft at 500’ and 450 knots, on NVGs (you know what it looks like but for the others, it’s like looking through a soda straw), was a whole different story.
