@vortecd you're gonna probably need this

I don't have pictures yet as it's enroute. I'm posting for a good friend of mine. He ordered in November and it's due to be delivered next week. I can facilitate contact if someone is interested.

He bought this motor for his Trackhawk and about a month after he ordered the Trackhawk was stolen and never recovered.

Here's the deets. I believe he's asking $9K which is what he paid. $2800 core charge back if you send in a core.

He's a good dude I've known for 15 years and if you're looking for a good motor and want to avoid the wait this would be a good option.

I'm right over the bridge from HHP. I will give him the price sans the core charge. $6,020.00. Not interested in sending a core in, also not trying to bend the guy over he just had his damn Trackhawk stolen but yeah, not sending my core in.

For $6K I'd buy it.

Just hope it doesn't let go at the top end of the track.

Mine popped at the top of 1st and that was bad enough.

Does someone make a belly pan or are you custom making one out of aluminum? Could just put an engine diaper, they make those for our car/engines

Where did you see this?
I stand semi-mistaken, however I think it is also relative to design. Just because theirs doesn't trap heat doesn't mean the 99.00 one from Summit will have the same properties.

I don’t drive my car on the street anymore so I can only speculate on whether there might be any cooling issues with a diaper. I’m going to guess that in cool weather there wouldn’t be a problem. Hot out… who knows. Keeping a eye on oil temp might be a good idea. I would never suggest that a engine diaper would be something a daily driver should have but for 1000hp on the track…

Depends or Motion Raceworks? Please don't beat me up... 😂
If my car was that fast and did wheelies like that I’d wear both

Some of the drag and drive cars use belly pans. Some will pull them off for the drive because of the heat buildup.

You have wide bearing clearances?

I couldn't tell you anymore what's a wide or tight clearance on any engine.
