Finally got the car out after 3 days of pouring rain. Yes rain in the desert WTF.

Anyway the PC created a whole new car. Man I mean it’s like night and day. I actually put 100 miles on the car today going no where really fast. The throttle response is 100% better all across the power band. I’m putting all my goodies back on the car. Hell I’m keeping this beast.

To those who recommended the PC all I can say is I’m very grateful. You were so right. I can’t stop the beast from spinning the tires.

Just what I wanted to hear. My buddy from the beach, El, Ri Cola, said made all the difference on a burn out. Well,,, hell, there goes another SS check. Should have all paint work complete next week, so present to me for xmas. Thanx for the info cause I don't run the track.

And yes, I understand that. Thanks for bringing that up. But can you not control that better with a tune of that particular track. I, me, myself, don't know but what I read. Does the tune at the particular time, temp, RA, Dew Points, track temp would be better done at the track?? Than depending on a device that you have not much control over?? Just asking. Like I mentioned,, I don't plan on tracking mine. I have out lived my 13 lives. But around town ,,, good.??

Yes a tune can help an automatic I have a launch tune I used last week that worked out great then when the track heated up I was able to change back to my original launching tune I was cutting low 1.5s with the launch tune then went to 1.44 with all timing put back

Yea but old M6 bastards can never get it out of our grow eens. Grew up wit it and will keep in control, we think, of it. I have been reading a lot about the tunings and interesting. My last 2 vettes I used Hyper Tech with the customize hand held device to program and reprogram the track conditions. Has come a long way since then, but still the control factor is important. When I sold my vettes before purchasing this H/C I took the high performance program out and replaced with factory. Worked pretty well. Now days,,, a very different story. Still learning and under warranty,, damn it. May purchase one I can build. Would you say at the moment tuning is 90% of the launch?

Not with a M6, it’s all you, and after about 800 wheel traction control is totally non existent. Put in a more aggressive ratio transmission and it’s total old school and play at your own peril.

That is what I have been doing since 1974. All high performance cars are, were, only 4 speed. With some on the column. Imagine getting your ass beat by a 289 3 speed on the column. You bring up a good point. Why piss around when just change out the tranny. More reading and a B- Day present to myself in Jan. I could not have a performance auto with out being in control of the handling.
