500 is just right for the street in my opinion.
For rwd yes, for awd I think 700/800 is fine.

I think in all likelihood I'm gonna do an m3 xdrive as a daily sometime in the next 2 years or so. Figure 650/700 whp on intake + dp + tune, with awd, should make me a repeatable high 9 second car on the street.

Love the chargers/challengers but hate we didn't get even any option or chance at an awd variant.

I'm still eyeing a 911 Turbo
Now those are disgustingly fast, simple dp + tune has massive gains for 991.2 or 992.

Right now my goal/dream car in the next 3-5 years is a ugr huracan

I'm thinking 1200-1400hp huracan should scratch the itch, awd + motec and you can't do wrong on the street.

Now you guys are starting to get it. I mean 800hp is a lot for just the street. Other than bragging rights not sure what you're gonna do with more if you're not racing. I get it though, no one coulda told me that 15 years ago....more was more back then for me but street cars were 600 to 700hp back then too.
Have to admit, even being somewhat in the sticks, I can't really use all 707 that I have now (tho I had more oppty during COVID ;)).
Still, I have that little devil on one shoulder telling me to get wider tires on the rear & have Jon tweak the PCM & TCM :unsure::whistle:

A custom tune makes a world of difference, even with out doing a pulley or anything. It really is night and day. I even set mine up to down shift a bit sooner when I ease on the gas to pass or climb a hill, etc. Custom is exactly that. I'd do that (and did exactly that) before adding power.

I dunno how much power mine makes now but it's honestly too much for the street. Spinning the tires at 100MPH sounds cool but kinda useless.

I think the next logical step for any of us chasing crazy #s is awd + a lighter platform, that basically sends you to a few options, the 911 turbo's, the huracan/r8 platform or the r35 gtr platform, everything else either doesn't have the aftermarket support yet, cost too much effort/money to build or can't put the power down on the street.

The big 3 (911/huracan/gtr) at 700/800 whp are equivalent to what our hellcats can do at 1100-1200 whp, plus these cars are hooking 100x better than us, only differentiating factor is the price, we are just about at the 90-100k price range tops, these cars are anywhere from 150k-400k.

It would be $29,995.:p Then see if it holds.
