Good guess! It’s a done deal. I built an oversized garage but still have to sell the cars. We are renting it out seasonally for the next couple of years. We were there for the month of August when we closed on it and went back for the first three weeks of November to do some work on it and actually miss being there already! We’ll come back to Virginia for Holdays and special occasions.

I thought I would keep my Hellcat forever but recently decided it must go. We built a new house this Summer in a retirement community in Florida. We will be moving permanently in 2 yrs and now have to downsize. Will keep the 1969 fastback Cuda and 2018 GC Trailhawk. I have been procrastinating in advertising anything but my 2013 Daytona, 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 5 speed Cummins and 24’ Haulmark trailer will also be for sale. Plan to get a couple of golf carts to replace the Chargers...

I’m not a wealthy guy, so to actually have this car in my garage is amazing to me. Plus the fact that it is a beautiful car to drive, it’s a keeper. There’s been a LOT of layoffs in Alberta, but I’ve survived. I already told the wife that if/when I get canned, the moho is down the road, not the kitty.

Maybe sell the Barracuda and keep the Cat...but the classic is reallymore appropriate for The Villages. The speed limit is mostly 35 mph! Maybe I’ll sell everything and buy something new in a couple of years...

I've had my '87 MCSS since 1999... I was 18 at the time. She's staying because there are just certain cars the grow with you.

I wish I had been able to keep the car I had when I was 18...a brand new Demon 340...(the 2nd love of my life)..lol

But I believe it is. I'm going to be 62 and don't need another car payment lol besides I love the car.

From what I've seen of your current place in the background of your car pics, you'll HATE the Villages. WAY over controlled for my taste, with a bunch of old bittie's riding around on golf carts 'looking' for HOA viloations (or clipboard Nazi's as we refer to them).

We go there to eat out & shop (lots of restaurants & stores to chose from), but I lived that way once & will never go back - too many busybodies that think they can control everything they lay eyes on !

All those golf carts make me think of this:


4 things you will need to get used to:
1) neighbors bitching about the kitty starting up
2) old ppl shaking their fists and complaining about SPEEDERS !!
3) those very same ppl driving side-by-side on 2 lane roads @ 10 mph under the limit, but pouring on the gas if they think you are going to pass
4) uncontrolable urges to visit the other golf cart meca in FL - SunCity Center
