Sorry, if this is all legit, I agree. If the mfr says the product will do something, but prevents it from doing exactly that, I have a problem with it. If I had a 170, I sure would like to take it to LTA speed trials and see what it could do in the 1.5. Of course, I would not do that with DR's.

The legal scholars at that law firm are going to have a challenge. The car CAN do 215 mph, however it takes a change to the PCM that is programmed for SAFETY to the consumer because of the tires it is sold with. Once things get in between good attorneys and “experts“ sometimes it is not as obvious as some people believe. Is the suit also going to include damages, injury? What would that be? Will it include provisions to also sue if it cannot achieve a quarter mile in under nine seconds and a 0-60 in 1.66 seconds or less? Would the Owners be willing to simply give their car back to Dodge for a 100% refund of what they paid if simple Mediation occurs?

You could. Change (as you understand is necessary) the tires and have the PCM modified to allow it to reach its top speed.
