He makes good points overall, but sometimes tends to broad-brush things. I have grappled with this concern of keeping these things running for a long time when I made the decision to plunge in rather than build something older, because I buy what I love for the long haul and plan to keep indefinitely. I guess I place a lot of faith in the smart people who also love these cars and that the aftermarket will find solutions down the road when we are faced with challenges of discontinued parts, electronics, etc. That combined with accumulating strategic spare parts along the way is what I am doing. And his point of enjoying the car now for what was intended for is a key and right on the money. I could care less what the value of my cars is now and in the future.

My 22 year old 4Runner has plenty of electronics and I've had no problems getting parts to keep it in basically like new condition. The main thing in these cars will be the Uconnect since it controls a bunch of stuff, but I'm sure there'll be plenty around and a good business opp for some electronic company to keep them going.

The red interiors are the Nappa leather, smooth, buttery. Pretty high quality leather

No idea what trade in was but I'll assume 130-140.

At msrp someone got to drive a demon and make a little change.

You can find no roofs at 25k over.

Market softening quickly.

Supposedly 9-10 d170s at auction at meucum next week.

I don't think they will go down to msrp but it's a solid investment prop at 10-20k over.

Let it sit and sell next year for 20-30k profit, potentially more depending on spec.

I already made up my mind, If I can get my hands on one it will be purely for an investment.

My eyes are on a twin turbo huracan next, just waiting on the market to come down on them a little.

This is gonna be very blunt and to the point.

Sunroof = 10k extra plus less desirable, hence no roof cars going for more money. Less desirable cause racecar but they are sitting in collectors garages.... oh the irony.

They couldn't care less about your cash deal, financing is always king for dealers, they make nothing out of a cash deal and everything out of bonuses and kickbacks from lenders.

They're still charging adm cause they know they can get it, we are reaching close to the dip here, my prediction has always been these cars won't go below 10-20k over sticker unless it's an undesirable color/options list.

Still a ton of buyers at 15-25k over

The paperwork - not that it matters in the long run - is kind of wonky on the 170.
An '18 demon is a "Demon"
A 170 is a sub option under the Redeye option.
I'd say that makes anything other than a cash deal somewhat difficult.

That's how it's being sold. Redeye with a Demon 170 package. Makes financing interesting especially with the ADM. Some couldn't even finance MSRP.

Depends on your bank, who's financing it, also having a good finance manager on the dealer side is also key.

My cu has told me they will finance up to 150k.

Depending on the mood I'm in I would probably just finance it.

Agreed, financing is still possible just needs some extra legwork.

Also finance history, when this is your 1st 100k car you finance it usually requires either extensive history or money down but if you have financed a bunch of them the banks tend to take it easier on you.
