Water Pump Failing

2018 Charger Hellcat - 42,000 miles.

Believe I need a new water pump. At 42,000 miles, while tech is fixing, what else would you replace?

Assuming Dodge's repair procedure would replace T-Stat?

Had all new belts replaced 6,000 miles ago when I had the left head replaced.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thermostat. If if you have money and he has a lot apart maybe see what more a timing chain and new guides would be.

Good thing it is just the water pump, and not the SC bearing...

Fortunately under warranty until April 2025. Hopefully this will be it until much higher mileage.

You've had a series of problems with it? But what do you replace it with?

Dealer has confirmed water pump. Apparently there is a lot of play and decided not to drive home. Said it is worse than it sounds. Pump and thermostat arriving tomorrow morning. Said would be done tomorrow. Had no idea how close it was to failing.

Got Charger back today. Tech is a cool guy. Said he removed SC, which surprised me. Anyway, covered under my warranty minus $100 deductible. Quiet now...cannot believe I didn't catch this sooner.
