Anyone install a rear tow hook?

I would like to have a way to winch the Challenger onto the trailer if it ever becomes disabled. Anyone who has tried to do this knows the problems with air dam clearance and cables/straps pushing on the air dam.

I looked into installing a front tow hook but it looks like you need to remove the front fascia to do it, something I really do not want to do.

The rear tow hook looks like a good alternative but I have not found good info on installing one. ZL1 sells one but they are so simple I think I can just make one and save $150. The big unknown is the exact location to drill the hole.

Anyone have any info?

I have a set from TBA Machine. Installed the fronts no issue but cannot use the backs as they go in where the rear cradle bolts fit and I already have the BMR cradle lockouts so it won't work

Can send you a couple shots if you are interested..... the fronts fit up underneath but are functional and secure despite not looking like a visible mount on some some vehicles

I have ZL1s. Can do the front without removing the fascia (just the lower grill insert) if you are patient, careful, and have a very short right angle drill and bit. Some say it's easier to pop the facia off, but I decided to try it first without doing that - was successful and looks great - cannot even notice the receptacle at quick glance - only had to trim one of the small vertical slats to provide clearance for the hook.

I have the rear one too but have not installed it yet. I also bought a set for the Charger but have yet to install either one on it yet. The instructions for the rear are a little sloppy on exactly where to cut the hole in the fascia - I have two different instruction sets from ZL1 that are slightly different - that's one reason I got a little scared and put it on the backburner. I do not know if they have improved them any or not as I bought the first set for the Challenger about 6 years ago.

Removing the front fascia makes it easier to install, but make sure you know where it lines up with the lower grill before just putting it anywhere.
As for the rear, I just installed a trailer hitch.

That's why I tried it first without removing anything - I could locate fairly precisely where to put the mount with Sharpie marks without having a big hole in the grill insert - tradeoff for that vs. ease of drilling the mount holes by popping the fascia off.
