I did not say. I am a little shy because some posted that it's not worth it (not true) and it ruins the car because it adds so much weight negating all the designed weight reduction (also not true).

My first choice was Heritage Panther Pink. It was taken.
Second choice was Competition Blue used on Dodge Vipers. As far as I can tell it has never been used on anything else. It looks like Petty Blue and is non metallic. I am thinking it is a little darker but somehow brighter. THIS is the color I got and I chose to have the hood painted black.

Maybe I am not reading enough of the posts but I am not seeing anyone picking on you. It's great that you obtained your second choice on the paint color. Just have fun with the car, that is what it is all about.

Drag racing appears to be a dying sport as tracks continue to close. For example, Englishtown closed a few years ago now Atco is gone. Get to the track and enjoy while you can.

Pick what you like...regardless what any member...(or anyone else for that matter) thinks..It's your car...you paid for it..I've never been concerned with what anybody on here thinks...

Just got an email from Dodge "Your 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 has entered our production queue. We'll send you a follow-up email when work begins".

I was also offered if I wanted the Demon body acid dipped with a clear coat, however, it would be only under warranty for 50 passes, I told them yess, I need all the help I can get

Maybe some Demon170 racing this fall. I tried to obtain the owners manual a few months ago, I love to know the break in procedure before purchase.

I wouldn't hold your breath on it being shipped any day soon. Mine has an estimated ship day of 7/28. I'd be shocked if I see the car before September.

It usually takes about that amount of time or more. It seems to depend on where it's going?

I'm just using other people's experiences.

We had a ship date for one of our customer orders for August 7th, but I just checked DealerConnect and see that the ship date has now disappeared. I believe that order was in D1 status as well and is now D status.

Whatever happened to that guy...

Buddy used the Dodges for his daily drivers. He had a Hellcat before the Demon. He has a ferrari he drives on the weekend and Saturday mornings cars and coffee at his business. He was having them weekly back in 2020 I think they are monthly or twice a month now. I haven't went in years
