I bought one last year that only lasted about ~month before it stopped working (I forgot to take the FOB out of the bag and the door still opened).

So then I purchased a different brand that advertised "3 layers", and now that one stopped working after ~2 months.

That had me considering the GoDark Vault key Fob case. It's double the price of the pouch at $50 ea, getting away from the soft pouch design:

The GoDark Vault - Key Fob Faraday Cage
https://godarkbags.com/collections/...t-key-fob-faraday-cage?variant=44151447781589

But before I ordered it, I thought my keeping the keys attached to the FOB while it was in the pouch had possibly contributed to damaging the signal blocking liner.

So the bottom line is, I had an extra unused pouch that I will now test out without the keys attached. I'll keep you posted ...

How many pockets do your pouches have?

I've seen many have 2 pockets and only the inner pocket may be lined.

Alum foil works fine, and doesn't cost $50! :)

A friend used a metal Sucrets box.

That's what I use for my hat (Aluminum foil).
Works great.
Haven't been probed by aliens yet.

Make sure you ground the hat. I run a wire from the hat to the sole of my shoe. :)

Be extra careful in electrical storms.

The fabric that blocks the key fob's signal from getting out of the bag ceases to perform its function.

As I stated in my post, I've now confirmed this twice with two different brands of Faraday key fob bags.
I'm guessing this occurs through the simple wear and tear of removing/replacing the key fob in the pouch multiple times a day.
Additionally, I've gone to the comments section where these bags are sold and I've found others reporting the same thing.

How many pockets do your pouches have?

I've seen many have 2 pockets and only the inner pocket may be lined.
The two different brands of Faraday bags I purchased only had a single pocket. Good question though.

For a vehicle that cost ~$90k when new, I'd like to try and find something a little more technologically advanced. :geek:

I'm still looking ...

and ............

That explains everything I needed to know. ;)

Is there a retrofit kit where you can replace your fob with a key? :)

Nice! I would have assumed no heft, since it’s titanium… pretty sweet though.
