Congratulations on your quest to improve your 60 foot and 1/4 mile times!
It's obvious I will have to let you drive my car to get the best times.
After reading , this 10 pages of info, my question is what happened to your first motor?
Any way related to recall work completed?
Good luck improving your 60 foot and 1/4 mile times.

In the first 450 miles it used 1.5qts or more.
It settled to about a qt every 6-700 miles or so. Early on in 2017 I found there was a rattle in the motor if I tapped the throttle when the motor was dropping rpm. To be clear I found this out when I hit the fuel peddle adjusting in the seat. So a blip to 1500rpm max. I had trouble finding a dealer that gave a poop. Finally in the spring my friend that is the electrical mechanic at a Dodge dealer came by to see if there was an update for the PCM. Hoping to have one that may fix the COT issues I was having. None found but I made him listen to the motor. He suggested I bring it in. When they opened the motor there was discoloration in the cylinders that looked like rust. No hash marks through them. Oil consumption issue likely. We had uneven ware on piston skirts. Apparently the wrist pins in a couple of holes were loose. On the other forum a couple of cars had that issue as well. While not common I remembered reading about them.
Unfortunately I did not have the car this summer as the engine was on back order.
As much as I hated having to unlock the PCM but it was the only way to get around the aggressive cat over temp protection.
I use summer blend pump 94 all the time at the track with good results ( I don't recommend it for the faint of heart) . I'm testing different fuels because I can !
