This is just INSANE !!

This dealer paid $44k at auction for my lemon Durango (complete with branded title) - shipped it from FL to WI, did an oil change & added a front plate mounting bracket & are now asking $67.5k :eek:o_O:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Lazy bastards didn't even take any pics, just using the ones they scabbed off the auction site :rolleyes:

It's in that listing as is their 'dealer cost invoice' of the oil chg & bracket @ almost $400 [giddy] [screwy]

LOL. Here's what the carfackx says about the buyback:

  • VEHICLE REACQUIRED
    Vehicle reacquired by the manufacturer pursuant to applicable state consumer warranty laws or to promote customer satisfaction.
  • Reason provided by Manufacturer:
    • Doesnt have auto dim feature on lights

That was the 'irreparable' defect they listed as the justification for the buy-back.
Then there is the laundry list of crap the dealer refused to fix:

hood out of alignment
DR side rear door out of alignment
hatch out of alignment
rear spoiler out of alignment/not seated correctly
Pass side rear door weatherstripping loose/improperly installed
Steering column grinding noise when raising
fuel door difficult to open/close
uConnect randomly starts on different pages
uConnect ‘reverses’ travel direction & gives backward or contradictory turn commands
uConnect random 'service unit' error on start-up

All easily rectified (except maybe the uConnect issues) & Dodge even expedited parts for some of it (fuel door, spoiler, stripes, moldings) but the fucks at Jenkins CJDR Homosassa refused to do the work. Even a rep from the Exec Team @ FCA couldn't goad them into action.

I owe it to the Jenkins Group to spread the word about what lowlife shitbirds they are at every opportunity.
Also, ppl need to be aware of just how little influence corporate actually has these days on these renegade dealers as it's getting more & more out of control.
IMO the entire 'independent dealer' model needs to be blown up and completely re-invented from the ground up.

Yeah well, I'd bet we'd be hearing plenty from you if a dealership refused to do ANY warranty work on your brand new car !

The spoiler is actually a star case now because a few have flown off and damaged the car for hit other vehicles
It was a star case before I took delivery, even the losers @ Jenkins knew/admitted that. They had the parts, just refused to paint or install them.

I was just joking, I would have had them buy it back too. Then again I almost never bring a car back for service to the dealership I bought it from. Had oil changed at dealer and found a nice little oil spot in driveway, probably let it drain all over the plastic belly pan, now I get to pull that and make sure they didn’t crack the oil filter housing
