Nick still doesn't have a battery together at arc-angel for our cars. He was thinking last September and I reached out to him last month and was thinking he may have something to test in May. Talked to him this week and maybe July.

Looking for other options that don't cost $800. I have found some other Lifepo4 batteries but everyone, they are showing 4-6 weeks coming from china. I talked to antigravity and about their cheapest option for a daily driver is $500 but it does only weigh 8 lbs. Wasn't able to find enough info on the Braille batteries. Spent way to many hours searching with little answers

Mine is on the way out. Listening to my radio at lunch the car has been hard to start afterwards. Yesterday I had to jump it. It seems to start if I don't do that even in the morning. I have put my Jeep battery in it for the time being.

Even thought for now buying a smaller group battery at Walmart for $100 that weighs around 30 lbs and wait for Nick

Seems like a lot of money for a car battery.
Does it come with a $600 cash back coupon?

@Dman007 had a lightweight battery last year. Maybe he can chime in on the brand he was using,

arc angel had a nice 18 lb battery 94R (stock size) but he is revamping everything. I had one 2 years ago and was one of the unlucky 10% that had a failure. Speedy, Bmason and Racer X all have them. He refunded me my money and is going to build me a 15 lb battery to test but keeps running into delays

The other issue with the antrigravity battery is the posts you need for a car (they don't come with them) are backorder until 5-15. I could not find anyone that had some in stock

How big of a market is there for a lightweight battery?

If it weighed 9-12lbs and was in the $400-500 range how many people would be interested in one?

There are tons out there so I think the market must be big. There are multiple companies on ebay that has tons of different sizes
The one I posted from amazon you can see all the different sizes

I also have one of the 18 lb 94R’s. Got it for $400 with that group buy a couple years ago. It’s supposed to have a 10 year warranty. That thing has worked like champ. Cranks my 426 like it’s on steroids. I hope it keeps going because now that those are discontinued I don’t know how that replacement deal would work with his prices now at $800. 5165825F-A495-4DB7-8B36-CE8DA47A8963.jpeg BD756ECB-8E87-4DE3-A28B-D70F1A73DD52.jpeg

There has to be a lot of extra weight in these cars that can be removed as well I assume, and only partially filling up with gas. Do a lot of you also do that, or mostly come to accept they are heavy cars, and just learn to live with it?
I got into making my dirt bike lighter a few years ago, I took off anything that I could, and shaved 12 lbs off my already fairly light bike, but it didn't make as much difference as I thought it would.
Probably just my crappy riding more than anything.
I was hoping for top 3 finishes in motocross racing once upon a time. Learned i am more just a top 10 guy, than a top 3.

I know most won't pay 780 but my battery just turned 2 years and has been rock solid. Here is the weight of stock and that light weight battery. 20190406_154935.jpg 20190405_202527.jpg 20190406_184452.jpg
