Nice job Marc! Glad you got it. Great to meet you in person and see that cool trailer setup lol. You guys do not realize how hot it was. The DA was deceiving and I heard ranges from 2500 to 3900 on Saturday. Thought I was gonna melt in the staging lanes but had a great time.

Thanks Speedy! Taking a break for a few minutes on the looong drive home. Yeah that humidity just about killed me. Not used to that stuff! One thing of interest is..... you know I just changed over to the AAD control arm set. On the pass before the 8.90 I pulled a 1.26 sixty ft. That was so crazy I was late on the second gear shift and hit the limiter. Killed the pass and only ran a 9.04. Man that AAD stuff works !!

Nice runs Marc. I wish I could have made it. Typically I make most of Dan's races but I made some last minute changes on the car and it didn't get done in time. A lot of new faces I wanted to meet from the forum.

So now that you got to see some of our humid weather out here in the east, it makes the 100* west dry air seem like nothing now.

Marc W, Congrats on all your hard work, sharing, and effort to achieve something most people will never accomplish!

I've learned not to pick on cars that have parachutes!

Honestly you are in Rare Air to travel the 60 foot time,1/8 mile and 1/4 mile times at warp speed. WOW

Not light. And you are pretty fit. A combo of safety equipment and probably at least 3/4 of a tank of fuel. She is a big girl.
Actually that was with only a quarter tank of fuel and one gallon of coolant in the icebox. The 8.90 was with 1/2 tank and full box so probably closer to 4550.

Don’t know what the quickest 60’ for a 4500+ lb Hellcat is, but if this ain’t it....... it’s damn close! 3A464861-0C6F-4208-85D0-E20BF7748A18.jpeg

That 1.26 sixty ft went thru first gear so fast that I was late shifting and hit the rev limiter. That knocked 4mph off my 1/8 mile speed and I ended up running a 9.04 on that pass. If I had been on top of that it would have been in the 8.80s on that pass. Shit happens fast at this level!

Yeah too bad you didn't get that pass down without mishap , it would of been a good one or better for sure.

I agree with you on the shifts happen fast , especially at your level , hell I couldn't even keep up on stock boost with just a tune , once I tried manually shifting it at my 1/8 mile track & I hit the rev limiter on every shift  , never tried it again , no need to as it will do it's own thing but I had to just try it once.
