I have the new ones with the magnets. The flares fit great, 1 is just a little too long and hits the grey plastic on the rocker. I was talking about the zl1 splash guards
Does yours have the double sided tape or magnets? Originally they used the tape, but changed over to magnets.
They were offering to replace with the ones with magnets if you shipped the originals back to them.

The zl1's are just a flat piece of plastic, so I can see where they'd be easy to massage into place. The OE flaps are molded & I'm sure they will not work without some fiddling about, probably need to cut both the flaps & flairs to make it happen. Willing to do the massaging & try, but not willing to invest $600 that may well be a complete throw-away.

I use the zl1 mudflats on the back with mine. Fit like crap
C'mon...ya cant get mud flaps to fit...:rolleyes::rolleyes:..ya cant be serious

Factory flaps...are difficult..zl1 can be trimmed..and molded...and look great..

I remember heating them a bit to try and mold the curve into them to better follow the arch and stop them from trying to pull away from the flares.
That works...gotta get creative once and a while...
