Not going to happen for going 5 over unless you’re trying to go the speed limit for other reasons.
It's not the amount of the setting, but the sudden change when you're running 75mph and hit a 35mph zone out on a rural highway that you did not expect. And the local cop parked behind the barn on the side road. These cars are much like my YZF R1 if you are moving you are speeding LOL

I can put up with it if it will help avoid tickets. and it does. has many times. Cops in this area do not have a sense of humor on speeding, at any level.

Big yellow cars are hard not to see. This is better suited for cop dodging.

Sounds like you need to do some racing to get it out of your system. Hit the local strip on street night a few times. Ger a pair of 17" MT's. Get it our of your system, then drive slow everywhere, you have nothing to prove to anyone, except maybe a pesky crotchrocket....

What really calmed me down was land speed racing. There is an event soon near you.

I never went to this one but I would go if I lived down there:

And get a radar detector now!

Its under navigation. I think its hard wired to anything over 75 mph. It can be turned off.
Our cars have navigation?!?

Although, I know mine has a speedometer, which comes in handy if wanting to know what speed I'm driving.

Five over than like the posted speed limits 😂?That would constantly be playing more noise than the stereo system in my HC.
I cant believe how many Forum members have such a wanton disregard for V&T laws...:rolleyes::rolleyes::(

Seriously, I didn't know. My GTO had one. I set it at 74, but it was waaay too annoying so I turned it off. And the "Rest" warning that showed the ecuplusis tree was pretty funny!

Linda: On the other "forum" they posted a vid of you. Did you notice the hyperactive kid in the background? It looks like they edited the tape to remove his interruption, he was pretty funny! :ROFLMAO:
Notice him, he is my Granson Chase! Perfect name for him!
He is 17 years old now and still is full of all that energy.
He was in other videos too with us. Before His "Pop" John passed away he was teaching him skills at the track.

In my case, I really want to know what speed I'm driving when going through towns and such. Then I do not exceed the limit.

Out on the open roads it's a different matter. Not that I get much of a chance to check the speedometer, but it's almost irrelevant if I'm exceeding the limit by 100 or 130%.
