Were those pics in the air or on the ground? You gain more once the car is sitting on the ground. Mine barely clears in the air
In the air I know I had more clearance on the ground still not enough imo

Sorry I clicked that pic by mistake lol I had to change my oil pan gasket (was leaking) did it around the same time did wheel hub bearings. Want me to delete it? Not trying to break any rules here

No, not at all, I was wondering if you did some window renovation in the block or something...

I was getting ready to pull the whistle on the Sympathy Train.

Thankfully now yet (knock on wood). We’ll see how long it lasts, stock sealed (if you don’t count removing the oil pan) long block. Will be all about making it safer now. Long tube headers, chiller, possibly clutched pulley to increase blower life

Seen many clutched pulleys break and damage the blower but yet to see a solid pulley damage one. Plenty of people on both side what to use but I use griptec

Yep, I took the sledgehammer and they still were too close for comfort. I got

some 1” longer wheel studs and custom gun centric 18mm spacers and put the Phillips performance flares on

View attachment 97926 View attachment 97927
I have pass thru spacers for sale in the (wheels/tires) thread.
Had them on my 16.
I now have 20x11.5 Triumphs in the rear and 20x10 in the front.
Also have Phillips flares ( love them).

satera makes a new one that is supposed to have a 5 year warranty and is designed so if it fails it won’t walk back into the snout @16GoManGoHC2 just got one, I’m waiting on the results. Only one I’d consider

I put a carbon fiber hood on a car I once owned. I had it on for over a year. Then one morning driving to work the SOB flew open at 55mph. Slammed back into the windshield and I damn near wrecked the car before I got it stopped. My wife and I were in the car and one of us screamed like a hurt baby. :ROFLMAO:Inspection showed the hood failed at the latch. Needless to say I will never buy another CF hood.

^^^Looks cool and all, but our aluminum hoods are so light anyway I think looks are the main benefit. I've also heard another story just like @Paladin06 about them so they have me leery.

I have Quick latch pins that ill be installing tomorrow. Its required by the manufacturer. Anderson is a very reputable CF provider.

Yes my stock 2016 aluminum Hellcat hood is super light, this was solely for looks as I like the Redeye hood better.

This hood is about 4-5lbs heavier than the stock 2016 hellcat hood. compared to a stock redeye hood it is 1 lb lighter.

I did not remember exactly what I saw. It looks cool on that blue HC however.
