Well, not today, but last Sunday:
Washed, dried, and was just about finished with the waxing when a cool breeze came in.....
sigh...
Followed by a very heavy downpour.
So I "sighed" last Sunday with my Challenger HC.:(
What type of wax? I thought you had ceramic coated your beast? Mine is all washed and sparkly but haven’t driven it in 3 weeks due to rain every other day. My sweetheart doesn’t like the wet roads :geek:

I have not ceramic coated yet. Waiting for new flares. Ones I had put on by Mobile Collision fell off, and paint started peeling. Contacted Bill at Phillips Fender Flares, should be getting new ones soon. I use turtle wax Ice spray wax

I simply drove it to work and home. During my work I was seeing an 80something year old guy...he said his goal was to get better enough to get into a Corvette again. I said forget the Corvette, much easier to get into a Hellcat. He laughed and immediately spouted off all the HC details, hp, etc. Had to know if I had manual or auto. He loved manual, but knew (ex 1/4 miler) auto was faster. Really neat guy. Made me feel so lucky to have the health and luck to be able to experience the simple joys of HCs. Car guys/gals are cool...HCers are the best! Excellent drive home!

Replaced the HID capsules (bulbs).

Front fascia removal required, at least on my 15.

Took about 2 hours, total.

I'm taking the car to Peitz Performance for some mods. 2.85 upper pulley, 180 thermostat, off road midpipes, tune and transmission tune. They will also install suspension links so my 17" rims will fit properly.

Only had my car for a few days so I've been busy doing things like programming the garage door for home link, installing StonShow front plate frame, re configuring the garage to better fit this big car, put SRT puddle lights in the front doors and ordered stuff like ramps and first oil change items.

Tore the damn thang apart. Poor critter. It will feel better in a week. Looks sad. No wheels, no calipers, engine tore apart. Was not so hot my dumb ass would be right in the mix,,, plus my din sore foot is broke. Too hot in a paint booth suited up. Heat out dex 102, crap. Almost too hot to shoot but there is no humidity or rain. The cane sucked it all out. The guys are working at 2 am to shoot the clear and Emran. Too hot it spider webs and a pain to start over. Get some new pads tomorrow,, less snake dust in the wheel whale. Lots of work but what the hell,,, cat.

Cool, I like it. Any how to posts for this?
It's pretty straightforward.

Remove from car.
Remove from bezel.
Remove knobs.
Pry open.

Replace existing LED with a 3825 SMD LED of your liking.

Reverse process.

If you want it brighter, do a little ohm's law math magic to determine the threshold resistance for your LED of choice. In this circuit, they are modifying the forward voltage and current. You'll need the current rating of the led you're using and go from there.

I'm a vendor on another forum and have been doing led light mods on Chrysler/FCA vehicles for over 10 years. Let me know how I can help.

Here's a recent photo of the wife's 2005 RT Magum, with red LEDs and custom lighted pointers, in red. 20190813_194245.jpg
