Dropped in a pair of SKAR Audio 500 watt 10" subs. Still tuning, but so much better than the cheesy OEM HK woofers.

Based on what? Have any side by side frequency response testing?

Well, the OEM woofers are rated at about 75 watts, RMS. Tiny magnets and have an overall response just above a whisper.

Here's a side by side:

The new subwoofers are getting 400 watts, RMS and have a low end response of 38 Hz. I seriously doubt the OEM HK woofers response is anywhere near that.

Here's my write-up:

https://www.hellcatforum.org/threads/how-to-upgrade-the-dual-oem-hk-woofers.4596/

So far, all amp factors are flat (bass boost, gain and crissover) and the bass imaging is amazing. I'll be tweaking these factors, all week, as I get a chance to run through a variety of music.

If it's no good for you, smells real bad, and has warnings all over the label, it generally means it probably works real well. LOL.

I'm not a computer or stereo guy, but looking at the side by side comparison and wattage diff, that looks like a huge step up. Like SXT to Hellcat step up.

In comparison to everything else that I've used to clean the crazy brembo dust (meguairs, Adam's, poor boys) this is the best product and looks cool while it's working (turns purple).

I'll directly compare it to Poor Boys, since that product worked wonders on my stock matte vapor hellcat wheels. Now that I have these aftermarket Rohana's, Poor Boys advises that you don't use it because of it being acid based. So, I made the Iron X investment and jumped on the hype train.

Iron X is Ph balanced and not acid based like Poor Boys, which should be safe for aftermarket wheels. My initial impression, the spray nozzle is MUCH better than poor boys. You can control the angle and output, which helps with getting the product deep in back of the wheel wells. YES, it turns brake dust purple, which then bleeds onto your driveway. Don't let this stuff dry on your concrete. I let it sit on the wheels for about 10 minutes while I'm cleaning the rest of the car and sprayed it off with a power washer. Rim is completely clean on the first application. However, I needed about 2 applications because I neglected my wheels...

It isn't just for your wheels either, I sprayed my cat head badge, rock guards, front/rear bumpers, even the exhaust tips. Whatever has iron contamination turns purple. Spray it all off afterwards.

Tl;Dr - I recommend it! It's kind of pricey, at over $30 for 1000ml, but it's worth it. Especially for you guys with aftermarket wheels. If you have stock wheels, Poor Boys will suffice.

Oh yea, did I mention it smells like death? Stunk up my entire garage and I cleaned the wheels outside!

That is a perfect indication of why spending the extra money on the (weak) HK system and Nav (which will become outdated) is like flushing money down the toilet. Android auto and any decent aftermarket pre-amp single sub in an enclosure are much better choices.

Here's what I have in my TBSS it is a simple to install low cost option that integrates well with the factory Bose system; the advertised specs are out to lunch but it works great for ~120 watts (actual):

Hopefully the Z-26 pads I installed this weekend cut down on the dust and I won't need the iron remover.

Finally had a ice box installed. Was not going to get rid of my subwoofer so SRT Autoworks did a nice custom clean install for me.... 395B295F-4855-4D85-8DC9-04E0B45BDF8D.jpeg 56B26007-0D7B-4E8A-A562-44058E9A2BD0.jpeg C2ABCF85-F2DD-4F75-9308-C781C8147E25.jpeg

Just curious, how many miles on your car? Or if perhaps how many miles on your rotors? They look to be at about 50% or so... (Judging based on groove depth and visible lip)
