I don't really know what to say other than that I'm grateful. For anyone following my saga found in the thread "hellcat down" this day has been about 2 years, 2 engines, and a transmission in the making. It's been a very rough road personally and financially with this car and seeing it all come together finally with two of my original track friends, Rich and Stan made me appreciate that it's really in the folks you meet. Special thanks to Jon Moored on the keys, Dave Starne's for the performance trans rebuild and Jim Schmittinger for building me a kickass 426.
There's a lot left in the 60 foot, I look forward to trying to wring all that I can out of the launch as I get more seat time. But, for now, I'm extremely happy to finally have achieved what I originally set out for and most importantly, to have driven the hellcat home on its own power without issue after a track day for the first time since 2023.
