So this is how our night ended, next to run for our 4th pass. We even had done our burnout and they stopped us, light rain. Drug the track one to many times then pulled us into the box and shut us down again. It also would have been our 4th race against each other. 2 passes with the legmaker and one with the stock box. We were switching lanes every pass also. Looked like the right lane mph was higher

I have to review logs in the morning before posting more. I really wish we would have got that last pass in and one more with the lmi.
My first datalog didn’t record. I don’t know I double clicked. So I only have 1 log of each. The lmi pass iat were definitely an issue. Just a quick glance at the log iat was 140s when I took off…..

I knew there was going to be a chance of rain but once we got past 5 I thought we would be good, nope. Da was1958 temp 74 and 49% humidity. We made our 1st pass left lane at 6:07 I had a 1.66 60ft, 7.10@100.76 1/8th and 10.99@127.05 I was about 50# heavier then last time out.. 6:16 we had our second pass and switched lanes. 1.62 60ft 7.07@102.09 and10.96@129.09
We switched to the stock air box and got back in line. Almost ran us but went to the next line so we had to wait. 7:23 we finally made our next pass and my car was more heat soaked then it being cooled of. Back in the left lane I had a 1.59 60ft 7.00@100.92 and 10.88@127.33 DA 1800 temp 72 and 50% humidity. These reading are with my Kestral and it moves a lot so it could be still a little off but all in all very close. Looking online it shows DA 1922 for 6:00 and 1916 for 7:00 and 1700 for 8:00 so it could have been between the 2 at 1800

Really wished we would have had the last run but nope. Jon will post his finding but I can tell you his last pass was his fastest also

There was a Redeye there and it might have been @Phast Hemi there was a Detroit sticker in the back window. I only saw him run once and he did no time. Jon tried talking to him but he didn't seem to say much Jon said

You can see da information above. My mods are 2.85 - dual pumps - fic 1200's
Before timeslip notes. I wish I could have gotted one more lmi pass in to see if I could possibly run cooler and see what happened. But the rain stopped us.
My exact fear happened and that was getting to hot before taking off. The stock box had a gain but looks to be becasue it was cooler. I'm guessing the pass I didn't have a log for I was cooler.
Regardless if cooler or not I am showing no gains. To bad I couldn't get an LMI pass around 8:30 when it was cooler. If only it didn't rain we could have made about 5 more passes with ease.

Lmi- before burnout 126 iat - afterburn out 140 iat- iat 147 take off - End of pass - 90 degrees
stock before burnout 97 iat - After burnout iat 100 - take off iat 104 - end of pass - 81
lmi max aircharge - 1674
lmi max pratio - 2.13
stock maxaircharge - 1674
stock max aircharge 2.15
Here are the time slips. My datalog for the lmi was from timeslip lmi 2. I think I double tapped the record button on accident causing it to stop on the first.
My passes have the intake about the pass. The other lane is vortecd

You can also see my 60ft and 1/8th mph were noticeable worst my guess is the second lmi pass it was hotter and didn’t start making power until it cooler down. I tried keeping 60ft as consistent as possible.
Lmi 1 and stock box were very close to the point were I don’t think it makes much difference I’m just guessing the lmi was a little hotter. I only have a few mile drive to the track but I still let it cool down for 40 minutes before the first run.

The hot air deal was one reason I swapped from LMI to JLT.

I just noticed something. My stock knock sensors are stock sensitivity.. I saw 1kr on the stock box saw almost 3kr on the LMI I am wondering if the added noise pulled timing.
Here are my logs for anyone curious

How does your jlt compare to the stock box going through the lanes?

Yes, we were at Us131 last night testing. The weather was a hot mess but the track did the best they could to run.

I asked what you had done and then you went no time. I guess that explains why you just said somethings done 😜

As I recall, you asked if I had any work done to it and I replied yes , a few things. lol. We always run no ET during testing at every track. It had nothing to do with you. Car was in the pits with the hood open, you were more than welcomed to take a look. Its pullied, with a tune , injectors , and BAP. Stock, engine, trans, blower, exhaust with converters, suspension, leather interior.

Looks like as previously perceived the stock airbox for the win even on a mildly modified Hellcat. Which air filters were you guys running in the stock airbox?

You can see your knock retard in those logs. LMI had 1 deg more at the launch, other than that almost none on either so I doubt it was a factor.

How does your jlt compare to the stock box going through the lanes?
Looking back at my last track outing ambient temp was about 65° and after the burnout my IAT was 86° right before launch and ACT was 109°.

At the end of the quarter IAT was 70° and ACT 135°. All temps are °F.

I am unsure what I will do after that outing. I enjoy the LMI being on the car for driving around. The wife hates it. I may keep it for this year and try a few passes in the fall with it. As far as my race season goes I just do test n tunes.
The burn box cool down feature didn't seem to do as much as I thought. I also had a low battery alert once after running it only for a short time. I will have to play with that more. At one point my hood was closed and I had it running and I could feel hot air being pushed out of the hood vents with a pretty good force. So I'm sure it did something.
