The point is…. The value is not in the paint itself. It’s the fact that it becomes a one of one color Demon 170.

I get that....unfortunately that 1 of 1 designation will never garner the money say a 67 vette...1 of 1 does....I know more than a handful of people that have 1 of 1 Demons/HC/RE's...who believe it represents substantial value...don't bet on it...and even if it did...that 30 extra G's...still has to be factored in...

I agree. But most of the one of one’s are insignificant combinations of options that would be unnoticed if not pointed out. I think a factory paint color that makes it the only 170 is a bigger deal. Just guessing based on the incredible value that is being placed on the 170. It’s nuts so I just have a feeling that the one off color deal is going to be a big one.

It very well may be...to the speculators (which I'm not)...especially those paying outrageous ADM's...this whole 170 frenzy..better be sustainable...I wouldn't pay any ADM....for a 170..or any car..fortunately I didn't have to...for now demand is high..and what buyers are willing to pay is even higher...what the market will be in a couple of years...is still anyone's guess

Had to be noticable to the average person walking around the pits or staging lanes as being "different".

Could not mimic a current or past paint color available on a Challenger. So, no Gold Rush or Furious Fushia. Also no Heritage B5 Blue or Sublime etc.

It had to pop or be high impact if possible. But I did have a couple colors that I was considering that were drab but definately popped as being different. Bahama Yellow and Cream or Tan. Both of which would have had full graphics.

I think I did OK. I got my second choice.

To do this correctly they would need to send the bare chassis out with all the painted parts
Then return them to the plant painted and ready to assemble
