There were 40 colors to choose from. Only 25 cars in the program with the info that is available right now.

So now I've had a few other people at the plant tell me they are building customer cars, and they've provided decent proof of it. So I have no idea what the hell is going on at this point. I trust the source that originally told me they were pushed to December and we do know that ship dates are disappearing and statuses are going backwards so I have no idea.

They are / were definitely building cars before last week

In 2018 they stopped Demon production Oct 31 after a fire that was blamed on a transport rig
Cars produced before this date were placed on hold
Quality issues

The same happened with the wide body models
The flares where not fitting properly to the sheet metal
Production stopped until the tooling was modified

Everything is hush hush unless your in the food chain
Dodge or any manufacture don t want the public to hear "quality issues" but this is a regular occurrence

I would be very surprised they push the start of production back to Dec
Logistics are to complicated to start & finish all these cars in 1 month
Especially with the tentative plant retooling schedule to start Jan 2024

They should call these 2024 models

At some point they will all get built...(it would be unthinkable if they weren't)....really not enamored with taking a Jan/Feb delivery...but it is what it is...thanks for keepin an ear to the ground...

So my guy is saying that the plant has built about 180, and they may still be building a few, but when they run out of parts, the rest will be on hold until December.

A guy at the plant says they're building about 30 a day, and we had a good conversation, but I don't think they have insight into the parts pipeline.

It's a weird one to nail down as of yet, I trust my guy, and he first told me about this car back in 2020 (although I didn't know it was going to be called the Demon). Hopefully, he's wrong for the people waiting for one, but he's fairly close to the project, and I don't think he would make up a story to tell me for no reason.

Was fortunate Enough to tour the Brampton plant today. Saw 20-30 Demon 170’s in various states of undress… so amazing.
