Looks like the typical got to hot failure. I bet there’s zero gap between the back of the rotor and case.

Thanks! I'm shocked how easy it was. Prep wasn't good or anything special and +1000 DA as well. If I can get to a good private rental it might hit a 9.1 or 9.0.

Some good prep & or -DA will do it. Great video & day at the track. Love it!

I really wanna get a day to thoroughly test the trans brake. If it works as advertised that may be the ticket to consistently quick runs. Supposedly when TB is used a special traction control map is enabled to maximize traction. Could all be marketing hooey though lol.

Any chance you have the part number on that pre filter? The 1 I ordered wouldn‘t fit over the larger end of the filter.

Strangely the receipt doesn't have a part number. I just ordered the one for the Redeye.

I'm not at all impressed with Sirius Gaurdian FYI. 99% of the time alerts are never sent to my phone and emails are very delayed.

That’s moving! Congrats! The 170s amaze me, so much tech wizardry to get them off the line

Guy I met at the track sent me this. Not as spectacular as Ron's but it's a start.

You get alerts? Perhaps I'm using mine wrong, but I just get the "health" notifications along with lots of extended warranty emails. Considering how connected the system is, it has the potential to be "great".

I have resorted to other security measures.

@TurboBob yeah I had to set up the alerts in the web portal, but it sucks. I definitely don't rely on it for security. Shame as it could be used if it were better implemented.

Cleaning up the shop for the season I was prepping my tires for storage and noticed my M&H Front Runners are coming up on 8 years old. Tires look fine, but I don't wanna chance a blow out at 148mph.

I think I'm gonna go with the Hoosier front runner since they're advertised as 12lbs vs 22lbs of the M&H so shaving 20lbs off the front would be good as well.

I'll plan to pick some up early next year and get a price from Discount Tire as they've always price matched whatever I found online.

I went back and forth on the Hoosier and m/t radial and decided on the radial. I will be running different brakes so I can run a 17". I will be using the same wheels f14s and should be around 32 lbs. My f14, m/h 18" are 34 lbs so about the same but I will have a better tire under the front. The f14 17s weigh 16.7 lbs and the m/t are 15.4 per my scale.

The Hoosier i have seen a scale weight of 11.7 lbs. I dont like the rounded look of the hoosiers though. I was also looking at the m/t et streets fronts that are around 12 lbs.
