392 Wrangler?

Has anyone else seen the tweet from Jeep this morning? Looks like a 392 Jeep JL is coming. That would be insane !!

Can't believe they'd offer the 392 in a Wrangler/Gladiator when it hasn't been offered in the Ram 1500 yet. Besides, didn't FCA already publicly state that although the HC motor technically fits, there will never be a HC Wrangler/Gladiator because it's too tight for their crash test/serviceability requirements? Can't imagine the 392 would be much different in that respect.

But hey, FCA has never been known to do the 'normal' thing, so who knows!

Yes that is correct the HC motor won’t fit due to crash standards.

Yeah but the Bronco will more than likely have a 4 popper turbo with a giant 6 banger for an upcharge. EW. Just EW.

Definitely has the 2.3 turbo 4 cyl from the Ranger and the smaller 2.7 TT V6 from the F150.

I have the Rangers with the turbo and they get down the road every bit as good as the V6 Pentastar and or better. And yeah yeah long term will see but for me will I keep it that long

I have a buddy who’s a die hard ford guy, has a 2020 Raptor and 2019 GT350. He’s hearing they will make a high end model with the Raptors 3.5 that will make 500 torque. That should be similar to 392 numbers.

Damn, a 392 in a Wrangler...I'd be pissed as I just traded my Ram 1500 Longhorn for this Rubicon Recon 3 weeks ago. 0% for 36 months and affiliate pricing plus discount on top of that.

I love this thing. I bought a 2018 JL Unlimited Rubicon in Granite Crystal but even after a recall the steering was jacked. This one has mud terrains and drives great. It's the old "First Year" thing again.

With the Redeye, I'm all Mopar again and feel quite fortunate!
