392 Wrangler?

I did small block chevy installs in the old Jeeps in High School 72 and 73 you need roll bars to keep yourself alive in the powerful little toys

Reminds me of years ago when I was active duty as an instructor at a marine power plant in Great Lakes Ill. A group of guys I worked with all had old CJ5's. All had V8 swaps, ranging from Chevy 327's, 350's and Ford 302's. Those guys were nuts!

One guy gave me a ride in his. We were driving down a narrow dirt path deep in the woods, and he said "hold on"......he veered off the path and began making his own...knocking down and running over a bunch of bushes and small trees....till we finally hit a sizable tree and came to a very sudden stop....good thing I had my harness buckled, or else I would have found out if I could fit through the windshield.

Easy big fella....I'm not hurling any insults...I just voiced my opinion in the form of a humorous sports analogy...and for all I know...they may produce it LOL:)...and the packers may offer you a sweet free agent deal... then for sure I'll look like the Forum idiot

I would seriously drive a Jeep before I would come to closure on the 392 Doing it any favors. They walk way too much and sure the Gladiator would be pretty sweet but the Wrangler is just too all over the road driving.

I had an old 70's Jeep that we put a 401 in...it was BADASS, but, it was a squirrely SOB. Roll bar is a must as I can't even begin to say how many times it was on 2 wheels.(Not the back 2)

And oh yeah I reserved 2 Broncos today the 4 door WildTrak and the 2 door BadLands. The reserve is on but the actual ordering is not till the end of the year. And delivery April May next year oh well the clock starts ticking today.

what would be cool is to see 392 on street tires, probably fit 335 all the way around and a bit lowered...just wishful thinking..they have the Trackhawk for that I know...

I dunno about the new Bronco. I'd been looking forward to hit honestly ever since the hints and that bad ass prototype were shown. Now that it's announced I dunno. Looks a little too "toyish" to me and I worry it will quickly become a dated look. I'm also disappointed no V8 option but that may be asking too much. I compare current SUVs to my 20 year old supercharged 4Runner that makes about 340HP and just kinda shrug and wonder if there'll ever be an SUV released that makes me want to trade. Hellcat Durango aside which will be too much $$ for me. I'm picky I guess LOL.
