I had a friend with a turbod one. He ran low 8s. I’ve looked at kits. But I don’t think that’s in the plans right now.

That is a great bike!

I like how you went old school to, the BUS has been around a long time, i owned one many years ago, they are still incredible today. The trend seems to be adventure bikes now, I've seen so many, and most people never take them offroad. I've had several, but mine were definitely used offroad.
The BUS will always be a class act bike!

That was the bike that finally took out my ZX-11 as top gun .Took other manufactures years to beat it. They came out with alot of stuff and said they were faster but they weren't. Even Suzuki kept upgrading the GSXR but it still couldn't do it. Then they came out with that. Game over.

I was looking at r1s and this one. I’ve never been on an r1 but I know the comfort level of this bike sold it for me.

R1 is basically a Corvette, handles on rails. Busa is the Hellcat, handles like ass comparatively speaking but fast as hell in a straight line. Very different animals.

That’s a good way to put. Both can corner well with the right driver but at straight line focused.

I'm a looks good kinda guy. I like the R1 better but I'm sure for riding a bike is different then driving a car.
I know a guy that wanted a bike and never owned one. Most people start off small then upgrade so he thought he would just start at the top. He bought a busa and put a turbo on it. Later he bought a YFR (could be wrong on the letters) bike was no where as fast but he enjoyed riding it better. Sold the busa

Yeh uhm let me ring in on the addiction problem……uh not so much and ask me how I know🙃. I have preached for years I should start the Car Addiction Anonymous help 😳. And uh yeh I would for sure rank as the biggest abuser for sure and yep it’s an addiction which ain’t cheap. So congratulations on your sweet ass ride and be safe.

I’ve never ridden a stock Busa, but it’s on my list. I was on a modded, dropped/extended bike and wasn’t a fan, but I think I’d like it with stock proportions. Might even be fast enough for me in stock form (believe it or not).

I bought it off my cousin. He pretty just used it to commute to work. He rarely rode just for fun on the weekend. My friend who used to have a turbo one asked how this one with pipes and tune only felt compared to the hellcat. This feels much faster than the hellcat when it was stock. But now idk. I told him power comes in so different. The torque hits harder in the cat. This revs about double the rpm. I’m not sure which would win in a race at this point.
I guess only one way to find out.

If I had to guess, the bike will GAPPPPP the Cat.
To make sure, your lady will need to be on the bike to keep the weight down.
