Hydroxychloroquine has been around for over 70 years, millions and millions and doses prescribed, there are no adverse side effects, it has been demonstrated by many studies to be highly effective against COVID if given within the first 6 days.

THERE IS NO OFFICIAL CURE FOR COVID-19 STOP TALKING ABOUT HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE.

Here are a list of side effects with no real benefit in curing people.

Heart rhythm problem (cardiac adverse event) prolongation of qt interval

Blood and lymph disorders: methemoglobinemia (oxygen shortage in delivery to cells) (possible fatal side effect but uncommo)

Liver issues such as increased ability to contract hepatitis, increased liver enzymes, hyperbilirubinemia etc etc

Renal failure (kidney failure)

On 6/15 the fda and cdc mandated no treatment of covid-19 because "Q" (hydroxycholoroquine) no longer met the EUA.

It's not a prophylactic either, it does not prevent covid from happening to you.

It's not a treatment either, there are currently dozens of studies going on and dozens concluded that reported no real benefit to the use of hydroxycholoroquine.

Hydroxycholoroquine is a drug used to treat malaria,lupus and sometimes arthritis.

Azithromycin has also been mentioned, it's not a treatment or prophylactic either.

Go look at Oxford's study, I'll attach the fda's study. All of these are publicly available studies that anyone and everyone can view.

You all say the media is bias and the media is misleading when it suits you, go look at medical journals and medical studies if you are so fascinated with hydroxycholoroquine. Then take those exact words from the studies and copy/paste them here so everyone can read actual doctors thoughts, because apparently mine have no weight.

Hydroxychloroquine is not a cure, it simply slows down the spread of the virus ( disrupts it) which gives the patients body more time to fight it, should I give links to the peer reviewed studies that demonstrates it is effective in treating COVID?

The side effects you list is just noise, has anyone ever died from taking Hydroxychloroquine ? The answer is NO. The US military has given millions of doses to troops over the last 6 decades, not one death.

Props to you for trying to bring some logic and actual knowledge to this post although it seems in vein. One things for sure if any of the internet doc’s get the big C or something else awful they’ll drop Dr alien sperm ( for example) like a bag of shit and be hanging on your every word .

Again, medicine isn't my specialty at all. I have no predetermined outcome bias, just want to understand the truth. The Ford study states:

"We attribute our findings that differ from other studies to early treatment, and part of a combination of interventions that were done in supportive care of patients, including careful cardiac monitoring. Our dosing also differed from other studies not showing a benefit of the drug. And other studies are either not peer reviewed, have limited numbers of patients, different patient populations or other differences from our patients.”

Early administration of Medicine with COVID-19, dosage differences, etc.

I remember reading somewhere both Hydroxychloroquine nor Remdesivir had any luck in treating late stage COVID-19.

I haven't had a chance to look at other studies posted on here, but will as soon as I have time.

Very interesting topic and important to figure out for the sake of humanity.
