i bought a new trailer to go to challenger fest..

Ok I hate to bring this up, but... the new Challengerfest dates have you running on the same weekend as MSHS in Maryland. You have many of the same class sponsors. There will obviously be a division of racers picking which one of these events to choose. As they can’t do both. That can’t be good for either event or the racers showing up to a diminished turnout. Obviously Mis Corona has thrown a wrench into everything. Any thoughts?

LOL. This is the first year that the weather has cooperated. To date I could have gone out 3 or 4 times on the weekends in good air. Thanks to the situation that didn't happen. The last few years due to weather I had to wait till May. Yesterday the DA went up to 97 with 20 grains and humidity about the same. While not neg 700 it would have been good enough. At any time now it will make a big jump and humidity will kick in. So now I have to wait till fall to try to run quicker.

Thinking the same thing. This weekend here was nice and dry yesterday and today. Every weekend so far in April has had at least one nice day for racing. Ughhh

Dan from MSHS and I work really well together and one year we ran our events together. We always try to avoid each other's dates but in this case it wasn't possible. The dang virus crap had the track dates turn in to musical chairs and the last weekend in May is all I could get that would make sense. June, July, and August are miserable so those are out and Sept, Oct are fully booked. It was either May 29-30 or like November 13-14 which is way too late in the year for a car show and drag race event.

It's not a real big deal though. The MSHS crowd is COMPLETELY different from ChallengerFest. They're much more so race oriented where CF has racing, but is geared around hanging out, TNT, and a car show. Nothing wrong with either, just draws different demographics.

Will be fighting hurricanes down hea at that point. Scooping out a new high rise parking garage to take over. Me and 30 others with certain people on shot gun patrol. just like in the movies except not on TV.

Looking forward to this. In a month, we will be loading up the 3 cars and heading that way. Can’t wait. Hoping to do some testing before we head down there, but our wonderful governor is holding the state hostage until the federal government agrees to bail out his failed pension fund. 🤬

We're still thinking positive but honestly it's a week to week deal. Here in TN it's WOT with restaurants, barber, gyms, etc all open. KY is moving a lot slower. I'm going to touch base with the track and hotel mid next week to see what's what and go from there.

Thanks for the update Speedy. Please keep us posted. If the track is not open, then we will need to back out and cancel.
can not drive 6 hours for a car show.
