Long term project. 1970 Pontiac GTO. Full custom Art Morrison frame. 475ci all aluminum twin turbo Pontiac.
Tubbed, 4-link rear suspension, C-5 Corvette front suspension, rack & pinion, double adjustable coil overs, custom oval exhaust for ground clearance. Frame was bent to put it in the weeds. At final ride height, the drip rails are only ~46"-47" from the ground. The oval exhaust was required for ground clearance.
Currently, engine is at super secret shop in the midwest for machining and assembly. Car is getting completely stripped of all paint to see what the condition of the body is. So far, not a spec of rust anywhere. Normal dings, dents and ripples from the original stamping. Light repair on the pass side from a minor collision. No new panels needed. Once each area is completely stripped and worked, it gets 2 coats of Squeeg's epoxy primer. When its all in primer, it gets some serious blocking to make it flat, straight and smooth.
The mufflers are 4" oval Spintech Pro-Bullet streets. Body is 12.5" L, 6" W and 3.5" thick.
