Absolutely. Anything that can change the coefficient of friction point to avoid stick/slip as the SRT engineers called it will change when and if it occurs. On my old car I added horse power and it went away, I was blowing through it.
Putting on a FAS billet inlet plate this week myself, will be trying that Fastman TB on stock snout first before porting a snout and going with a bigger TB someday if this setup doesn’t net 50 additional HP View attachment 13918
I would love to see what the plate adds by itself. I really believe it needs to be with the snout and TB to get the "best" gains. I'm kicking myself for not putting it on this round with my snout and TB. It frees up enough airflow to require tune adjustments and will add some boost.
Ok, after MUCH ado here’s the results
FAS Billet plate, port matched my snout to the plate inlet, Fastman 95mm TB. Before and after, dyno 2/17/20 3 pulls, dyno this past Sunday 2 ditto pulls, no other changes, didn’t even disconnect the battery or do a throttle relearn. Look at that baby breath now in the top end. Added 2-3 mph to the top of my 1/4 runs

THANK YOU for the Fastman TB, seems a perfect match here. I was shooting for 50 hp (Or more lol) and this combo nailed it.
Here’s a pic of what needed hogged out of the stock snout, only took about 2 hours with a die grinder.
50 solid HP and about 20 ft lbs tq but more impressive then the peak numbers is the area under the curve difference of both after about 5300 rpm
I posted a pic of the dyno graph did it not come through?
Next up for testing is massage the stock blower inlet plate and put it on my other blower once I fix it and see how much it nets verse a $1000 plate. I don’t see that test occurring for a couple months but if will happen, I bet it’s close.
