I did see wrinkle marks on the tire sidewalls when removing them. I think I went too low. THANKS for the advice!!

Not at my local track. I've run a bunch of 9.80s there now. I do use a helmet and fire jacket, but no cage. I'll keep my 10.0 tuneup for strict tracks and just hit the number.

@Hpindy with a 1.41 60' I think I'd be right there with you or close. My best 60' is a 1.47 I think, not sure why I can't get it better. I've had a bunch of 1.49 - 1.52.
I gave up on the 305 tire last year. Couldn't leave with anything more than a squeeze of the pedal off idle with a ton of timing pulled out for launch. I see these guys leaving at RPM on 315's and at 20+psi lol. I look forward to trying them out this year.

Yea, I’m glad I went with the 315/50-17’s First time out with them yanking 1.5-1.6 60’s with them with a stick was nice. I kept upping the launch rpms and they just kept taking it until what it’s looking like I went too low on the psi with them. Next outing at a better track with better prep and the BMR trailing arms maybe get it down to high 1.4’s, that’d be SWEET!!

Nice, look forward to the results. You going to pulley up in size? You'll be moon boost with that upgrade...

Putting on a FAS billet inlet plate this week myself, will be trying that Fastman TB on stock snout first before porting a snout and going with a bigger TB someday if this setup doesn’t net 50 additional HP

Agree, but is there a point that too low of tire pressure can lead to it happening easier? Or could deteriorating track conditions be more of the cause? I was hooking up good at one point then wheel hop started. Track closed before I could try a higher pressure and see if it changed things or not. Only asking because I’m kind of green in running tires with this big of sidewall (315/50-17) at this low of pressures, 16-20 psi, and what can lead to what. Just measured the tires static, not on the car, sitting in the 68 F garage, 16 psi, that too low??
16 is waayyy tooo lowww

Kind of figured, will be starting with 19 cold tire pressure next outing
Thanks for the advice as well

I’m going to work around my 2.75 pulley I believe it will produce the most efficient air

I would love to see what the plate adds by itself. I really believe it needs to be with the snout and TB to get the "best" gains. I'm kicking myself for not putting it on this round with my snout and TB. It frees up enough airflow to require tune adjustments and will add some boost.

Got to watch the IATs too. Might even have to use the 2.85. You'll probably get another 2-3psi with that setup, I wouldn't be comfortable with anything over 21 on a stock bottom.

I just did about 3 weeks ago a before this upgrade dyno visit and plan on doing a after it’s installed visit and then possible another dyno visit if and when I port the snout and go with a 105mm TB. I’m one that like to know and prove out gain claims. I’m making about 17 psi now with a 2.85, I’ll be able to tell pretty quick based on data logs alone how much more boost the plate alone with the FM TB nets. I’ll be posting the data. This data log taken earlier today, if I’m looking at this right max boost was about 17.24 psi?? D20A4B40-3832-4B29-A373-9B2D172FAE0C.jpeg

Have to subtract barometric pressure, by converting in hg to psi, 29.20 in hg = 14.34 psi, 31.53 psi - 14.34 psi = 17.19 psi of boost pressure. That’s how I was told to calculate it at least

14.7 would be a better number to use as a constant, 1 atmosphere, very seldom is barometric pressure that high, it would have to be almost 31 in hg to be 15 psi

I have no tune or any other power adder.
I have tried the $220 5gal of ms109 to mix in. The car ran similar numbers in 1000 da as it did in 2000 da on pump gas. I get no knock in data log or timing being pulled.
So pretty sure I will be fine.
You are using Ultra94, right?
