Waiting for work to be completed. Getting back to my original question, is there a process to test that the TSB install is actually working? Thanks View attachment 112376
I have my invoice which shows what was supposed to have been done but I’m curious to know if the car is anymore secure today than it was yesterday. There has got to be a way to tell? I’m a trust but verify type of guy when it comes to dealer work!

I think the dealer needs to verify it for you or a locksmith as if he was going to try and make another FOB for you. I don't recall hearing anyone having their Cat stolen with the RF hub lockout done.
I forgot to mention, I forgot about the DTC I’m getting about my MFER exhaust bypass kit. Dealership cleared the code and did the install. I thought I remembered someone saying that they wouldn’t do the upgrade with any codes. So good for me!
I’m booked in for Thursday to get this done as well. Went through my fobs today….for some reason the black one was dead. Lol. Anyways, was told to bring all the fobs…hopefully goes easy.
Good reminder @DaveB I did the same thing, tested my fobs to make certain all were working, I didn't want any reason to be turned away. Black key dead here too.
Had mine done today. One of the red and the black fobs were dead so bought new batteries for them all this morning. Sounds like I was the 2nd one they have done. He said the 1st one didn't go well, it wouldn't take so must have been when it 1st came out. He said mine went fine
What I think is pathetic is the big secrecy from Stellantis on this critical update to keep your car from being stolen from lowlife POS's. I wish I knew the number of our cars that have been stolen and I'm sure it's high. My comprehensive insurance jumped up this last time. @DodgeCares what say you?
I'm pretty sure if this update was sent out to owners instead of a TSB find me Speedy would still have his Cat ..

I agree it's a real shit way that they have gone about it. I will say when I had my 2021 GT500, in that community, you never heard of one getting stolen, same with when I had my C8. You basically can't go a day without hearing about a Hellcat being stolen at this point. I'll have to schedule my car in to get done ASAP as well.
